The Romanian Black Sea Coast
Warm climate, miles of sand beaches, ancient monuments, vineyards and modern resorts invite travelers to seriously consider Romania's Black Sea Coast as their summer holiday destination.
Beaches, stretching from Mamaia to Mangalia, are well known for fine resorts and hotels, lots of sport and entertainment facilities.
Remnants of ancient Greek culture as far back as the 7th Century, BC, when seafarers established trading colonies along the coast, are still being discovered.
Romania's main sea resorts are centred on 45 miles of fine sand beaches and include Mamaia, Eforie ,Neptun ,Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Mangalia.
The Black Sea coast has long been known for cures of arthritic, rheumatic, internal and nervous disorders. Mamaia
Mamaia is the biggest seaside tourism resort in Romania which has one of the most attractive touristic beaches from the southern part of the Romanian Black Sea Coast. It is located close to Constanta city on a narrow sand bar of about 250-350 m width and 8.5 km beach length between Siutghiol Lake (in the west) and the Black Sea (in the east). Most of the hotels (over 60 hotels), located close or directly on the beach, have been modernized in the recent years.

Situated on cliff 30 meters high, along the land zone between Techirghiol lake and the Sea, Eforie Nord has beautiful beaches 3 km long and 100 m wide.

Mangalia
